Last Mile celebrate National Lorry Week 2024

From 4th November to 8th November 2024, the road transport industry is celebrating National Lorry Week which emphasises the importance of the people and organisations driving business on our roads, ensuring the supply chain continues to operate efficiently. 

National Lorry Week raises awareness of and celebrates the incredible work that the UK haulage industry does for us all. Being a RHA member, Last Mile are once again proud to be a part of this as it's a perfect time to celebrate and to appreciate their fleet of vehicles and their hard-working drivers. 

Distinguished by its logo and colours, Last Mile have been running a fleet of HGV vehicles since 2019, with a comfortable working environment and driver well-being being an essential part of Last Mile's business growth. Along with this, creating and retaining a strong team of drivers is of the utmost importance to Last Mile and they have worked extremely hard over the years to achieve this. 

Their 'Warehouse to Wheels' scheme which was launched in 2021 encouraged its existing staff who are committed and share the same passion and values to pursue a career as Heavy Goods Vehicle Drivers. This has been a fantastic opportunity to not only progress careers but to enable Last Mile to benefit from drivers acquired experience and loyalty helping Last Mile to achieve this goal. 

Last Mile is proud to be a part of this ever- growing industry and National Lorry Week 2024 and throughout the week we will be sharing some of the faces that sit behind the wheels of our HGV fleet.
