Last Mile secures 3 year contract!

Last Mile have been providing warehousing for GBA on behalf of one of their clients and are delighted to announce that a 3-year contract has been agreed to continue this service.   

The contract involves storing raw paint materials of a Hazardous and Non-Hazardous description.    

The warehouse receives daily inbounds via both trailer and container loads, where the warehouse team will decant and organise into storage locations. 

In addition to this stock is transported daily via their HGV team to a local manufacturer.    

In order to fulfil the contractual obligation, the transportation requirement is that of ADR and as a business have now have qualified ADR drivers, as well as several of the fleet being converted to include the ADR kit.

This piece of work and more importantly the commitment that has been provided, is another example of the business making huge steps towards achieving our goals.  

This type of work involved allows us to demonstrate some of the strings to our bow, from warehousing to transport. And with the transport requirements of ADR hopefully this will open up other opportunities around this type of work that we previously couldn't consider.
