Last Mile take part in charity walk!

On Saturday the 25th of March 2023, staff from Last Mile took part in a charity walk from Whitby to Saltburn. 

The team took on this challenge to raise awareness and funds for two very important charities: 

'Together for short lives'- Supporting children around the UK with life limiting & threatening diseases and also Breast Cancer UK.

Directors, Drivers and previous staff members along with family and friends all joined together and covered a whopping 20 miles along the beach and up and down hill along the coast.

Last Mile provided support vehicles to follow along and meet at various points to provide refreshments throughout the day and to be on hand to collect those that were unable to complete the full event.

Organiser, 15 year old Gracie Leckenby- Blades, whose family has recently been sadly affected by breast cancer has set herself a £5000 target that she would be delighted to reach.
