The Rome to Home countdown is on!!

A local group of guys from Stockton-on-Tees are set to undertake a remarkable charity bike ride, aiming to increase awareness and raise essential funds for a cause that is dear to them all - Cancer Research UK.

Spanning 23 days, starting at Rome, Italy to 'home sweet home' - Stockton-on-Tees, the 'Rome to Home' will be an unforgettable challenge for them that will require stamina and dedication. 

The organiser, Martin Flynn, along with his team of 29 family members and friends, with varying fitness levels and ages ranging from 19 to 64 years, will be pushing their limits for this great cause.

Starting on Saturday, 31st August, at the Colosseum, cyclists will join at various points and traverse through a total of five countries, covering an impressive distance of 1,240 miles..  

They will cycle through picturesque villages, across stunning landscapes, over rolling hills, and ascend to the breathtaking heights of 8,000 feet amidst the Swiss Alps.

Throughout the journey, a support van and driver will ensure safety and comfort and Last Mile Logistics are pleased to be able to provide transport assistance.

Last Mile are thrilled to be a part of such a special event and will be following and sharing the progress of the journey.

They are hoping to raise as much money as possible, with numerous donations and support already beginning to flow in.
